More About Eric

Eric Meyer is a mixing and mastering engineer and musician based in Western North Carolina. He works remotely with artists and bands across a range of styles, helping them achieve clear, intentional, release-ready sound while preserving the musical feel and identity of each project.

 

At the core of Eric’s work is a goal to bring a human perspective to the audio process. He approaches mixing and mastering as an extension of the music itself, guided by careful listening, musical context, and respect for the artist’s intent. Whether the creative choice calls for subtle refinement or bold processing, his focus is on supporting the emotion and character of the song—refining what’s already there so the final result feels cohesive, intentional, and ready to be shared.

 

Eric holds a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music and Audio Production from Western Carolina University (magna cum laude, 2023) and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Music Studies through Berklee Online. Drawing on his background as a pianist and bassist, Eric approaches audio with attention to timing, structure, and musical narrative—supporting a collaborative workflow that serves the song first and respects the artist’s creative vision.
